Murmur is happy to report that Fall Line Projects, a branch of Fall Line Press’ initiative, recently held a successful fundraiser for their upcoming zine < IRL >. The idea for the zine is to explore how today’s digital life affects “real” interpersonal relationships. The event showcased the artists’ works and allowed them to feed off of one another before going into zine format. Another great result of the organization process for the event was the sense of community created through the contributions from both local businesses and artist-donated work. In case you missed it and want to contribute to the publication process, pre-order a copy of the zine here!
< IRL > will be debuting this summer in correlation with the 2016 Atlanta Zine Fest. You can also look forward to future Fall Line Projects including an event with Atlanta Celebrates Photography in the fall and a reading room + exhibition space of their very own. For now, more reading material can be found at The Contemporary, Cover Books on the west side, and in their online store as well. The Fall Line photo and art book library can also be viewed upon request. Please email Director of Programming, Patricia Villafañe at patricia(at)falllinepress.com to arrange an appointment.
